When Christmas comes, the streets grow bright,
With golden windows in the night.
The chilly wind begins to sing,
And bells ring out on every wing.
We hang our wishes on the tree,
Some for ourselves, some for those we see.
A simple gift, a smile, a song—
Can make a lonely heart feel strong.
The moon looks down on roofs of white,
While stars are dancing in the night.
And for a while, the whole world seems
To slow its rush and share its dreams.
So Christmas isn't just a day
For shiny things and games to play.
It's finding joy in what we give,
And making someone's heart believe.
When morning brings the sun anew,
May Christmas kindness stay with you—
Not just beneath the Christmas tree,
But in the person you can be.
