I never knew that love could grow

From little things we barely show—

A quiet smile, a passing glance,

A moment caught by circumstance.

You came into my ordinary days

And somehow changed their quiet ways.

The morning seemed a little bright,

And even stars looked close at night.

I love the way you say my name,

As if it never sounds the same.

I love the silence when we sit

And never feel the need to fill it.

For distance cannot make love fade

When something real has once been made.

I don't need promises in gold,

Or perfect stories yet untold.

And if someday the world feels wide,

The sweetest place I've ever known

Is simply where my heart finds home.

There was a legend of a monster that resided deep within the forest in a small settlement that was encircled by a pitch-black forest. The people in the village were afraid of it. They murmured tales of its deafening roar, keen claws, and flashing red eyes. They were unaware, however, that Momo, the monster, was not at all frightening. His eyes shone, not because he was cruel, but because he needed to see in the dark, and he was large and shaggy.
